Artist Description: The Tree House. Marc Balet has constructed a scale model of several rooms illustrating his ironic version of an environmentally perfect home. Everything in each room, from the bed coverings, furniture, bathroom facilities and lamps, grows out of trees which form a thick, protecting canopy of lush vegetation. The Tree House is Balet’s take on what a true environmentally sound home might be. We view the house in varying weather, visited by animals and as a home even for our ever transitioning globe. These NFT’s animate 3 of the house’s rooms: Bedroom - Weather is close to home. Bathroom - Nature is a neighbor. Living Room - Climate change hits home. The architectural model was made in 1990 but the animated NFT was created 2022. Sound effects done by @Wes_Got_Beats
